Our Building Process
Getting the ball rolling
1. First contact
It all begins with a phone call. Just contact us on 0207 112 8159 and chat to us about what you want to achieve and how much you want to spend.
2. The design phase
We will work with you to make a detailed plan for what you want done. One of our experienced professionals will ensure that everything you have planned is feasible in practical terms and in terms of your budget.
3. Planning the build
The construction work will need to proceed according to a precise plan. We will draw up a detailed programme of works, so that you can monitor the progress of your project. To ensure that you can also keep track of costs, we will undertake to provide you with a fortnightly update on how much has been spent and compare this with your budget. We do not expect our clients to pay a deposit.
4. Signing the contract
Once plans have been finalised and you are happy to proceed, we will draw up a formal contract using a contract format approved by the Royal Institute of British Architects. This contract provides protection both for you and The London Builders.
5. The build
Work will begin at a mutually convenient time, but we will try to set things in motion as soon as possible. Once the project has started, we will keep you informed, and also work closely with you through face to face updates and additional meetings that you may wish to have with our team of designers and architects.
The London Builders has a first-class track record for completing work by the stipulated deadline, within the planned budget and to our clients’ complete satisfaction.
We are committed to supporting you long after the build is complete. We do this by offering warranties on the structure of any new construction, and of specific features such as plumbing systems and electrical work.
